About Us

Welcome to Grad Pass! This App is designed to relieve the stress and anxiety of managing the Student Service Learning hours (SSL) for students, parents, and schools. In every case, SSL hours are completed, signed, gathered, and stored solely by the students as early as middle school; Senior year the required hours are compiled and counted as a graduation requirement.  

We are a team of passionate individuals who believe the SSL requirement is an obstacle that each student must overcome in order to further their education. The idea is a well thought-out plan to help students to practice time management, accountability, and the value of community service. We realized that the procedure intended for gathering SSL hours was flawed. With these obstacles, it was apparent that students endeavoring on this  path would continue to have these challenges. 

The brainchild of this App was formulated by Nylah DeMar-Jones when she was a junior in high school. Nylah experienced the struggle of managing and compiling her hour's first hand. As a result of Nylah's experience, she created this App that would benefit the future students, parents, and schools.
